STRIPLIN RUNWAY LIGHTS

   Striplin Runway Lights owner Jim Striplin started flying at the age of 15. He grew up on a small general aviation airport in North Florida. By the age of 18 he was flying professionally, flying charter as well as flight instruction. Jim gained his experience in airport lighting in 1969 when he installed runway lights on a local airport along with refurbishing an older rotating beacon and erecting a beacon tower. Even though Jim had established his own airport and successful FBO in 1984, he had always had a desire to venture into the airport lighting industry. 

   Jim began the airport lighting business in 1987. By 1992 he was manufacturing all of his products in-house. Since that time his business has spread all over the United States and literally around the world!!

   Striplin Runway Light products are manufactured right here in the USA - utilizing local material suppliers and local tradesmen & vendors.
